I'm very happy with this bed frame. It was easy to put together and looks great. The only problem is my mattress and box spring combination makes the bed extremely tall.

Purchased Driftwood for our bedroom. Pro's: Took 2 people approx 1 hr to put together. Color. Real Wood. Price. Fast shipping. Fairly sturdy. The finish is protected with wax. Looks good! Con's: Headboard only attaches to frame by the legs area, too much weight on it, I worry that when sitting up and using it to prop my back could break the headboard at the legs. Not enough support boards (2 more would make the bed seem more sturdy when adding you weight to it). The distressed finish is machined and very noticing, not random at all. All in all... it is worth the price, recommend it for a spare bedroom rather than a master bedroom. For us it will work just fine with some extra slats purchased and not leaning on the headboard. Until we can afford a better one this is our bed and we are happy with it; then it will be moved to the guest room which it will be perfect for.

The frame is bluer than expected. The instructions did not specify the distances between the slats, nor are the holes marked, so you have to do your best to space them out, using an image as a guide. With a boxspring and pillow top mattress, the bed sits approximately 31 inches from the floor. Overall, a good price for a wood bed frame that seems solid and looks good.
